Other Abstract本人以β' + α'SiAlON这种原位增韧陶瓷基复合材料为具体研究对象,从实验手段着手,取得了较高质量的显微组织图像,通过定性分析、图像处理,程序自动测定了表观的二维参数;更应用定量金相学,结合SiAlON的特点,提出了处理这类材料微结构中呈正六棱柱形的粒子的空间特征尺度大小、空间数密度和体积分数分布以及位向分布问题的理论模型和计算方案,并具体进行了测算,得到了此类SiAlON陶瓷微结构三维特征参量的定量表征。与此同时形成了一套拥有自主版权的金相图像处理和分析软件包。实验结果显示,β' + α'SiAlON材料的粒子存在等轴状的α相和六棱柱状的β相两种相结构;而其空间排布方式是具有较大特征尺度的粒子集团间充斥着大量的较小粒子。测量和计算结果显示:β相的长细比在一个平均值附近有范围不大的涨落;平面上粒子频数关于尺度a呈对数正态分布。计算还得出等轴状α相在数量上约占40%,但在体积份额上只占2% ~ 5%, 这说明绝大多数α相的尺寸很小;相应的,六棱柱状β相粒子占总粒子数的60%,和体积的95% ~ 98%; 从尺度a的上看,a在0 ~ 1/3_(max)范围内的粒子数占总数的99%; 而a在1/6a_(max) ~ 1/2a_(max)范围内的粒子占去体积的80%。对粒子的空间取向的计算表明:它在热压面内的投影均匀分布,在与热压面所成夹角在 0°~ 35°的范围内,和在与热压面垂线成0°~ 20°的范围内存在择优分布,前者约占粒子总数的70%,后者约占30%。; The paper makes β' + α'SiAlON-a self-reinforced Ceramic Matrix Composite as the concrete material to do the research work. High quality microscopy images have been acquired from the experiment and the two-dimensional parameters of the grains are measured by a automated program based on the processed images. More over, the stereological parameters of the hexgonal prism in the microstructure, such as the spatial characteristic dimensions, the number density distribution and volume fraction distribution, the orientation of the grains, are computed by a model presented by the author based on the characteristics of the SiAlON. At the same time, a Metallographic Analysis Software Package-LGA was formed with full access to its internal source code. The experiment results showed that the β' + α' SiAlON has two phases: the equaxial α and hexgonal-prism-like β. And the spatial arrangment mode is that the grain group with bigger characteristic dimensions are padded by the grains with smaller dimensions. The output of the computation showed that the aspect ratio of the phase βhas a little range around a mean value; the plane frequency distribution to the dimension a approximate a logarithmic distribution. It also shows that the phase αhas a population fraction of about 40% and a volume fraction of only 2% ~ 5%, this illustrats that almost all the grains of phase αhas tiny dimension. Correspondingly, the phase βhas a population fraction of about 60% and a volume fraction of only 95% ~98%. The analysis based on the dimension a showed that the 99% population has a a in the range of 0 ~ 1/3a_(max); and 80% of the volume has been filled by the grains with a in the range of 1/6a_(max) ~ 1/2a_(max). The computation of the grain orientation showed that the projecting in the hot-pressed plane is homogeneous but there exists preffered orientation in the angle to the hot-pressed plane of the specimen. The angle range is 0°~35°to the plane with a population fraction of about 70% and 0°~20°to the vertical plumb with 30%.
