Abstract | The plane elasticity problem for a wedge region containing a crack was solved by Khrapkov (1971a, 1971b). Clearly, the suggested method is only useful to the straight crack case. In the present analysis, the dislocation is distributed along the curve configuration. Therefore, the curved edge crack problem for an elastic half-plane can be formulated and solved immediately. |
