Abstract | A complete finite element stress analysis regarding the response for highslope excavation of rock mass is presented. Rock mass is modelled as a linear elastic-perfectly plastic meterial with Drucker - Prager yield condition and its associated flow rule. According to the calculation of point safety factor, it is found that the rock slope of rock mass as a whole is stabilized except that the values of point safety factor to be close to 1.0. |
