AbstractUsing the pulsed YAG laser with double acousto-optic modulation method, wheel and rail test blocks were processed by laser surface dimple texturing, which forming laser texturing technique. In this work, a laser texturing device was developed, a pair of acousto-optic modulation laser for laser texturing of dimples was designed, and the friction and wear problems were researched under flooded lubrication and dry condition respectively.
