Abstract

This article was originally published online on 5 April 2022 with errors on page 4, Sec. IV. The third line of the first paragraph starting with “…wall-bounded flows…” has been corrected as “…wall-bounded flows (see Refs. 37, 50–52, and 56–69). The spatially….” The 11th line of the second paragraph starting with “…Lz are nondimensionalized…” has been corrected as “Lz are nondimensionalized by L = 1 inch as used in Ref. 60. δν.” The caption of Table I has been corrected as “TABLE I. Summary of computational parameters for the DNS study. The computational domains LxLy, and Lz are nondimensionalized by 1 inch as used in Ref. 60.” All online and printed versions of the article were corrected on 7 April 2022. AIP Publishing apologizes for this error.
