    写在前面的话：
    2011年3月11日发生在日本宫城县里氏9.0级的特大型地震，造成了日本近万人死亡，过万人失踪，财产损失不计其数……这让我们不禁想起了5.12汶川大地震，同样的场景，同样的血泪悲歌，同样的地震灾害，同样的可歌可泣的抗震救灾过程。本图片集旨在通过回顾力学所非连续介质力学及工程灾害联合实验室在5.12汶川地震后的抗震救灾及科研考察过程，体会地震灾害给我们带来的启示……
    决战唐家山：5.12汶川大地震后，在距北川县城上游3.2公里处的唐家山形成滑坡，滑体涌入河道形成堰塞湖，随时威胁下游绵阳市数百万人的生命财产安全。为了配合有关部门进行堰塞湖的排险，实验室成员携带数十套地表位移监测系统赶赴唐家山进行地表位移监测，为排险工作的顺利进行提供了必要的基础数据及技术保障。
