Analysis of Kic and its temperature dependence of metals by a simplified dislocation model

AbstractThe relative Kic values of metals are calculated with a simplified dislocation model. It is found that the ratio of KIIc to KIc and the temperature dependence of fracture toughness of some metals estimated with this model are consistent with the experimental results.
