Abstract大量实验表明颗粒尺寸对颗粒增强金属基复合材料的力学特性有很大的影响。然而经典的弹塑性理论不能解释这种现象,因为在经典理论中并不包含任何长度量纲的参数。利用Chen和Wang提出的一种新的应变梯度理论系统地研究了颗粒尺寸对颗粒增强金属基复合材料力学特性的影响。具体研究了颗粒增强复合材料中的诸多因素,例如:颗粒的尺寸、颗粒的长径比、颗粒与基体材料的杨氏模量比、颗粒的体积份数以及基体材料的应变硬化指数。另外与Ling的复合材料实验结果进行了分析,计算结果与实验结果相吻合,并给出相应材料长度参数值。
